For the 11th year, Autumn at the Arboretum will include the popular one-acre Pumpkin Village in the Pecan Grove, featuring artful arrangements of 90,000 pumpkins, gourds, squash, bales of hay and cornstalks. They are used together to create the imaginative pumpkin houses that represent naturally occurring patterns in nature to mirror the “Art of the Pumpkin” theme along with Cinderella’s “Pumpkin” Carriage, courtesy of Baylor Scott & White at White Rock. Set amidst the 150,000 fall blooms such as chrysanthemums, ornamental grasses, copper plants and firebush.
The popular Haybale Maze and the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch offers pumpkins for purchase. Don't forget to pick up the Great Pumpkin Search Scavenger Hunt at the Information Booth. The autumn is the perfect time of year for a picnic in the gardens or a leisurely walk among the breathtaking fall floral displays.
A myriad of activities take place throughout the garden on weekdays and weekends during Autumn at the Arboretum.

El sencillo 'Andamos En El Ruedo" ya es TOP 25
Los Angeles, 21 de octubre de 2016 - Ulices Chaidez y Sus Plebes, una de las nuevas promesas musicales dentro del género Regional Mexicano lanza hoy su álbum debut Andamos En El Ruedo.
Esta producción discográfica contiene 19 temas e incluye composiciones de reconocidos compositores como Luciano Luna y Omar Tarazón y también incluye dos temas de la autoría de Ulices. El primer sencillo de este álbum, "Andamos En El Ruedo," esta ya en el Top 25 de la lista Regional Mexican Songs de la revista Billboard y el video del tema "Por Que Me Enamore" sobrepaso 9 millones de visitas en YouTube a tan solo un mes de su estreno.
Proveniente de Villa Juárez, municipio de Navolato en el estado de Sinaloa, este joven de 16 años viene de una familia de agricultores, su padre es jefe de invernaderos en un campo agrícola, su madre es ama de casa y sus tres hermanas son su motor, su inspiración. Aparte de tocar la guitarra, Ulices también toca el requinto, el bajo y la batería, y en un futuro quiere aprender a tocar el acordeón y el violín.
Ulices Chaidez es amante de la música romántica, le gusta jugar al fútbol y compartir tiempo con su familia. Le hubiera encantado hacer un dueto con Ariel Camacho y su sueño es grabar un tema con Miguel Angúlo, uno de los íconos de la música Campirana. Gracias a un proyecto musical que realizó con Sergio Sánchez de Titanes de Durango, Ulices y su música llega a oídos de Angel del Villar quien lo firma al roster de artistas del sello discográfico DEL Records.
